Innocence Riots

As I said elsewhere:They're acting like children. The kind of behaviour you might expect from a five year old is being played out by armed adults. It's utterly pathetic. When it comes down to it this entire thing is essentially equivalent to them going "your mate was mean to my mate" and then being mean to you. Top that kind of utter immaturity off with a healthy helping of such utter ignorance about the world that they think that their actions are actually getting back at those that made the film instead of absolutely playing into their hands and you have the current mess.I find it hard to be scared of such people, they're so pathetically silly albeit dangerous on their own turf.

The US is entirely happy to continue with drone (and other) attacks in the full knowledge that they repeatedly kill innocent people, including children.

If you're ever in a war, I might have more sympathy.

No, you're not at war. Neither are we. Having our militaries being all active doesn't make it a war. Our nations are currently engaged in occupation.We were, very briefly, engaged in a war of aggression against the Taliban, and then later against Saddam. But we defeated their feeble army with the greatest of ease before your military leaders utterly fucked up the peace with the able assistance of my own muppets. Yes, the not war-ness makes it very easy to say. Curiously the location from which I say it doesn't make much difference.Edited by Mr Jack, : No reason given.
