Re: BMI vs Body Composition test
shouldn't the formula for women be different? instead of the maximum waist line, maybe the maximum hip line? with a different coefficient of course, calibrated to give the right answer.
your cited formula breaks down for tiny people. plug in zeros for height and waist and - voila' - you weigh 98.2 pounds! ZouNDs!

That's fine, you can stop discussing this with me whenever you want.
In the time that I have been on EvC, CS has struck me as a very bizarre person. There is nothing wrong with being bizarre. But....
oh...i fear for you even more than Faith or Dawn Bertot. Take care man!

Well for me I think a lot of what you speak of stems from the Insurance companies themselves.
And the insurance industry is also getting it from the doctors with exorbitant malpractice premiums. Talk about pigs in shit, they are reaping zillions from both sides!
Another thing, today's doctors coming out of medical school typically are under the glacier weight of student loans of over half a million and beyond, payable at 3000/month for 40 years or so.
The world is very different for doctors than it was a mere 50 years ago.
