I'd like to address the degradation thing.Surely, some porn degrades people. But, as has been stated earlier, lots of popular culture degrades people, and usually the people are very willing to be degraded.BUT, I don't see most porn as being degrading.
I think perhaps degradation is in the eye of the beholder.When I see people on their knees in front of a pulpit with a preacher's shaking hand clasped to their heads muttering in tongues, I see that as utterly degrading.When I see someone like Benny Hinn calling old people up to the front to be a spectacle, that's completely disgusting and degrading to those people.I really thing we need to strictly regulate evengelism, especially the genre of "faith healing" whose main theme is degradation of people.
