I used to freak out at people who used the word "basically" two or three times in a sentence, it really annoyed me.
This isn't as common now, but it has been taken over by another word.
This is when someone who is answering a question always seems to say "absolutely" before they start to answer, it does my 'kin head in!!!!!!!!!
Listen for it on TV, especially on SKY news.
"Do you think George Bush is a donkey"
"Absolutely, he struggles to string two words together"
"Did you find the shuttle landing impressive?"
"Absolutely, those infra red pics were amazing"
