We again have proof that people can make the bible say anything they want it to.

At least it's nice to know that drinking is encouraged in the bible...

Another personal insult...Luckily, the mods feel a court jester is needed around here so you get to hang around.

I look at it very simply - both religions hold the old testament as divine. Therefore they both worship the god of the old testament.
​
So either the god of the old testament is NOT the christian god or the jews and christians worship the same god.

The problem is you have a world where Faith = God. You get to determine how to interpret the bible and anyone who disagrees with faith's interpretation is wrong. YOU ARE NOT GOD. Your interpretations of scripture are no more valid than many other interpretations. Unless you think you are god that is.

In any case you have made my point. In your opinion the jews are worshipping god the wrong way, but they are still worshipping the same god. I think we can leave it to god to decide who is worshipping him correctly.. Unless you think it's your place to judge and not god's.

I'd recommend you refrain from calling other people ignorant. Especially if you are going to continue to post about any scientific subjects in the future.
