Thank you, Minne. I caught it tonight and was amazed at how she continuously advertised her conservativeness. 2 minutes into her interview and I was already like "ok, we get it, you're a conservative!!!"
Again, thanks a bunch.

Buzsaw, I'm sure plagarism is against forum rules, even if the person you plagarized is yourself.
In the future, please refrain from copying ideas from yourself. It would be better if you come up with your own original ideas.
cheers cheers

Re: Brian Suspension - A special situation
I'm guessing Brian's suspension has something to do with his overall general harsh tone toward well known creationist members here as well as the inactiveness of his admin alter ego.
While one can easily pick up the occasion hostile tones throughout the debates that go on here, there are some that are especially noticable. It is an unspoken rule that debating in good faith requires the show of at least some kind of good will or understanding toward the opponents. Lately, Brian's tones seem to grow harsher and harsher toward his opponents. If looked at carefully, one could understand that the almost hostile intentions are carried over from previous debates.
An obvious recent example of Brian's not-so-good intentions toward creationists can be found in message 4 of this thread. In my humble opinion, his reaction to Faith's post was uncalled for and could have been a lot less harsh.
Anyway, without much further information, that is how I interpret "For actions against the best interests of EvC Forum."
Added by edit.
From what I understand, it is best that an admin needs to be as impartial as can be humanly possible. While this is a hard goal to achieve (just like that one more goal that the USA national team failed to make against Italy earlier today), it is always better to see an admin, though partial, who demonstrates restraints toward "the others". My understanding is that Brian's recent outbursts, if you want to call it that, have made it hard to convince "the others" that he is trying his best to be impartial.
Edited by rgb, : Further thoughts.

yeah, but i've seen suspensions here before, publically announced, for reasons similar to "you're being an ass, have a break."
What Brian has been is not being an ass.
I tend to see the forum rules as traffic rules. Some are strictly enforced while others are more malleable. There are the passive drivers, agressive drivers, and the outright rude drivers. The outright rude drivers know the laws too well, so they know how to nitpick at others for little things that may push the laws a little. Technically speaking, they're not breaking any rule, but having them on the road is too much of a distraction for most other drivers.
Now, imagine a cop. He is suppose to represent both the strict rules and the less strict rules. He is suppose to model what the ideal driver is, which is someone who doesn't necessarily obey the rules word for word, who sometimes can drive up to 5 or 10 mph above the speed limit, etc. These model cops use a combination of strict discipline and human understanding when dealing with regular joes like ourselves.
Now, imagine a cop that is a know-it-all who happens to dislike certain types of drivers. He nitpicks at these types of drivers constantly, declaring them criminals everytime they mess up a little bit. This type of cop, while not breaking any rule, is a distraction to our highways.
I see Brian as such a cop.

well, he also wasn't doing it in admin mode.
Before he became an admin, he had to demonstrate a certain level of control to be "awarded" such an authority. While admins joke from time to time of their alter egos and such, they are essentially the same people as their alter egos. I think the other admins saw it as a bad reflection on what an admin represents, even if the person in question hasn't done it in admin mode.
What happens to cops when they are caught sniffing off duty?
