t's not just the complexity of life that indicates design,
to paraphrase jamie hyneman of mythbusters: the surest sign of poor engineering is over complication. simplicity is the hallmark of good design.
(original remark made in reaction to adam savage's card-throwing machine which attempted to mimic a human arm and fingers, while jamie's design used two wheels)
