Wouldn't want to make so much effort that you actually have to think now would we? That would be like learning to spell.
Seriously though do you know what evolution entails? I will bet that you do not know the way it actually works and it is a fair guess that you have either misunderstood or been misinformed. Can you specify what you find to be stupid and just which laws it is supposed to break?

"We cannot define anything precisely! If we attempt to, we get into that paralysis of thought that comes to philosophers, who sit opposite each other, one saying to the other, 'You don't know what you are talking about!' The second one says 'What do you mean by know? What do you mean by talking? What do you mean by you?', and so on."

You'll have to do better than that
Your entire post is nothing but a personal opinion. It requires some logic and evidence before it is going to be treated seriously.
You will need to demonstrate that you do know what you are talking about while you are at it.
When you have shown why you hold that opinion and that you do have some idea of what you are talking about then someone may find it worth answering.
You might note that far more Christians accept evolution than don't. It just might be that some people know some things that you don't. One of them being that evolution and Christianity are not mutually exclusive. If someone is telling you that they are then that explains who is trying to shake your faith as you noted earlier. It is the creationists that are your problem not the rest of us.

I hate to have to repeat my own, anecdotal story, but I used to be a creationist until it took too much faith to continue to believe in the literal Genesis creation story.

Re: Welcome back
I have a theory, anyone care to shoot it down?
It goes like this: Servent of the Cross' brain is gradually shrinking at a steady rate. It is occurring fast enough that, as little as two months ago, his/her brain would have been so large that it wouldn't fit in a walnut. In far less time in the past (a few hours or so), all conscious thought would have ceased to exist.

Just curious, but did anybody shake you last time?
Somebody's been to Creationist Camp or something, I suspect. Your fervor is noted but not very convincing. Why not try evidence and a well-reasoned argument?

Re: Welcome back
Since you've posted nothing but crap, I think I am justified in posting nothing but crap as well.
Servent writes:
Come on peeple
You forgot a comma between "on" and "peeple." You mispelled "people." You forgot to put a period after "peeple."
How Can any one beleive in evolution
Little c in "Can" instead of big C. "any one" is supposed to be anyone. I comes before e in "believe." You forgot to put a period at the end of the sentence.
I mean thats like the most stupidest thing I have ever heard
Here are 2 possibilities you can rewrite this sentence to make it look better.
1) I mean, that's the most stupid thing I have ever heard.
2) I mean, that's the stupidest thing I have ever heard.
It Breaks so many laws and Crap
It breaks so many laws and crap.
I mean I would be an aithiest to if I had that much faith
I mean, I would be an atheist too if I had that much faith.
It takes so much more time and efort to beleive in Evolution Then to beleive a Higher Being (Being God) Created the Universe
It takes so much more time and effort to believe in evolution then to believe in a higher being (being God) creating the universe.
So Come on peeple
So, come on people!

But Lam, perhaps you should consider that he would really be the aithiest. I presume that that's someone who is maximally aithiy, but I'm not positive.

Re: Welcome back
Hi, Servent, welcome back!
"Servent" is actually spelled "Servant". Unless the misspelling is intentional, you might want to go to the Profile page and define a correctly spelled alias.
Love your avatar, by the way.
Lam may have missed a grammatical error. I think this:
It takes so much more time and efort to beleive in Evolution Then to beleive a Higher Being (Being God) Created the Universe
Should be this:
It takes so much more time and effort to believe in evolution than to believe a Higher Being (meaning God) created the universe.
I think both scientific and theological studies involve much time and effort.
Do we know your age? It might be helpful if we knew.

Why are we picking on the spelling? I thought we only picked on the spelling of messages that themselves were corrections to someone else's spelling.
Is this what we're reduced to? Picking on some poor kid's spelling? I don't understand how this fits the guidelines, or why Lam's post was POTM-worthy, for that matter. Can someone explain, maybe? Did I miss something?

Why Spelling
Servant was ranting, again. He was calling things stupid without justification.
Should Servant be allowed that kind of behaviour?
Did Lam respond in kind? No. He simply looked closly at the details of the post and corrected it.
Did this demonstrate where the greater stupidity might lie? Do I want to be picked to pieces like that? I will behave.
