Whats funny to me at least, is how prevalent smoking was in our recent past. I went on a airplane and I'll be, it has a arm rest ashtray!!! And whats with the "no smoking" signs on airplanes.
I love old silver screen movies and chuckle at the places people use to smoke. Which was everywhere. You were in the minority if you did not smoke. I saw a movie where the freaking Doctor lit a ciggie for his patient and then fired one up for himself.
When i was in highschool I janitored in a AFB office building and just about every single desk had a ashtray full of butts. Way before designated smoking areas.
