Ornette Coleman was the free jazz alto player whose eloquent, eccentric music has always meant a lot to me.
ABE: I seem to recall Moose liked his stuff. Any other fans here? Edited by MrHambre, : Added by edit line.

A great OC summary statement, stolen from someone else:
quote: Someone who is on the relatively short list of most important jazz artists ever. The still living old jazz titans that I recall: Sonny Rollins and Cecil Taylor. BTW, I read somewhere that Ornette Coleman and Cecil Taylor once attended a Grateful Dead concert together. If that's true, too bad that they didn't sit in with the band. Moose

One of the legacy members of the WWE has passed. Dusty Rhodes, the American Dream, Virgil Runnels (Real Name), has left behind a legacy in the form of two of his sons, Goldust (Dustin Runnels) and Stardust (Cody Runnels), currently being starts within the company. The man was a mentor to many of the stars as they began to work in the company, as well as a big hearted character who always had time for the fans. RIP Dusty, The Dream has passed away...

Nothing! What does the Buddhist terrorist do? Goes into the middle of the street, takes the gas, *pfft*, Self-Barbecue. The first is the original, Ornette Coleman - alto sax, Don Cherry - trumpet, Charlie Haden - bass, and Billy Higgens - drums. Via Youtube:
The second is by Diamanda Galas, just her, piano and voice (no words) - Pretty intense, so watch out (louder also)*. http://music.duykhanh.me/...Lonely-Woman-Diamanda-Galas.html Many years ago, I overdubbed these two version into 1 piece. Came out really good and makes Diamanda more accessible. Moose * ABE - OK, figured out how to turn the Youtube volume up Edited by Minnemooseus, : * ABE

He wasn't overly famous, but , what he did to, is save 669 Children from Czechoslovakia from the Holocaust. He didn't even talk about it for 50 year, until his wife found his notebook and notes about it.

You forgot to mention that Jumbo was so big he actually derailed that train.
Chance as a real force is a myth. It has no basis in reality and no place in scientific inquiry. For science and philosophy to continue to advance in knowledge, chance must be demythologized once and for all. —RC Sproul "A lie can travel half way around the world while the truth is putting on its shoes." —Mark Twain
