I personally consider Superman the ultimate Mary Sue. While I might like some of his adventures, I really can't identify with him.

The two characters I identify with the most come from Marvel, are Spider-Man and the Incredible Hulk.
​
What it really comes down to when discussing comic book characters is which characters you can identify with the most. Other stories might be fun to read about, but it's what you see in the characters that gives them strength.
