Q: How can you tell a Christian from a Muslim?A: It's a trick question. You can't tell a Christian anything.I don't think you can teach people to be tolerant any more than you can teach them not to drink too much. It's something they have to learn on their own.

We have a show called Little Mosque on the Prairie about a mosque that's housed in an Anglican church. It's produced by the CBC, so it's practically guaranteed not to make any money.

At my father's funeral, the limo driver was a black woman who talked and laughed all the way to the cemetery. Some people might have thought her behaviour was inappropriate, especially for an "employee". But it occured to me that my father had done exactly the same thing at my mother's funeral. He certainly would have enjoyed the driver's company (if he had been there in a more life-like state).Sometimes the people who are supposedly "hurt" by comedy may be the ones who appreciate it most.
