Open Question For Jerry Falwell (and those who agree with him)

If you pick up a hot coal and get burned, it's not God judging you and it's not the devil trying to burn you. I think a lot of people like to blame one or the other because it's easier than looking in the mirror.

I think sin, in general, carries it's own punishment... no supernatural intervention required. For example, if you kill there will be consequences If you eat too much, there will be consequences. If, as a society, you abandon morals, there will be consequences. God doesn't have to come down and "smite" you... you'll be handling that all on your own.As I said in the previous post, we need to quit looking up or down and take a long hard look in the mirror.
