I like your answer
very much, Mike. You are correct in your deliberation that the reason Jesus was not married is because........his purpose was salvation, and no other. He also chose a woman to bring the news of his resurrection to the disciples, knowing only too well what the status of women was during that time. The bride spoken of in Revelation is his church, she wears a crown .....etc. Marriage was/is an institution designed for a man and woman to find love and security in each other. Jesus did not need that. If this is ONLY your opinion, you show great insight and learning. Thank you. You have made my day.

Anyone
can be a disciple, and not just a disciple of Christ. Original sin is a Catholic concept, where it originated. If you read the story of the fall carefully, you will find that Eve surrendered to temptation, but Adam's sin was deliberate. The difference is acute. Then he whined and cried and said......'the woman you gave to me made me do it'. Blaming the woman for the choice he made and God for giving him the woman. We are so indoctrinated that careful consideration must be given to what is actually being said, vs. what some ism says it says. As for no female Catholic priests? The RCC is a boy's club, good old boys. Much of protestantism is her offshoot.

Nah
'Men' can be inclusive. You know this. I have taught you better than that.
