Actually Michael, Jesus was the one who talked with the Samarian woman when it was thought of as unacceptable, and also forgave the prostitute and healed women, this hardly shows us in-equality now does it. Also the Gospel in no way shows a sexist attitude.
I am going to guess that he wasn't married because he didn't come into the world for such purposes as a
regular human life would. His
bride is talked of in I think
Revelation. Besides this, the importance we place on such things is maybe not what it would be with God, but that is only my opinion. Man was made to be with a woman - one flesh, but Christ is the son of God who became the son of man, he is not the father or the husband and in every scripture takes the role of the
humble, lowering himself as as the greatest
should do, showing a true example of greatness, and showing how service should be done, even HE came to serve us. Please know that this is only my opinion.
