Jesus took on human form while on earth.
Jesus will return to earth in the same form as he left it. "Up" means nothing other than that. If you want to believe sun or polaris or orion, that is 'up' enough for me. The corruptible body will be raised incorruptible, that would be correct. As for the maharishi? I'm not into Eastern philosophies. I'm not very good working out my future all by myself. I quite like the idea that Christ is my alibi.

The chappie Naessens who described somatids was investigated by the American Cancer Society. One of it's findings was
the particles he had seen were well known by hematologists to be products of red-cell disintegration. He also concluded that microorganisms that Naessens cultivated were the result of secondary contamination of the material studied. (American Cancer Society. Naessens serum, or Anablast. Position paper, 1967 To be perfectly honest, the images I've seen at the website are so poor that I can't even identify the red blood cells as red blood cells and I've looked at a good many in my time!! Might as well be an MS Paint piccie. When carrying out microscopy on body fluids, you will always find small particles which "jiggle" about. These are mainly due to dust, crystals or cellular debris. For more information on the discoverer of somatids try here;

[As a result of medical necessity and intense research, Richard Rives, President of Wyatt Archaeological Research, became aware of the existence of these tiny living particles "Somatids." He found that in the absence of bacterial cells in urine cultures, which normally divide producing more bacteria, cells would suddenly appear out of nowhere. The question was: where did the bacteria come from. A medical doctor, who was a friend of Richard's suggested that he might check into the claims of Gaston Naessens, that sub-cellular particles existed, capable of developing into "bacteria like forms." ]
[cells would suddenly appear out of nowhere] Guess that wraps up the abiogenesis puzzle

Wyatt is a total fraud. His website claims when Christ died His blood dripped on the Ark hidden beneath Mt. Moriah. Wyatt is asserting contrary to what the Bible says. Calvary = propitiation = sacrifice for sins made. Heaven = propitiaTORY = place where its adequacy is testified to. For Wyatt to claim the blood dripped on the Ark is absolute total freakin lie ! Wyatt is dead and I wish his supporters would get on with their life and let him die.

Hi, WT, while I think a man`s beliefs are his business, we have to acknowledge that there some seriously-sick puppies out there (on both sides of the fence).

quote: God has a body these days? I thought God was "everywhere" and was non-corporeal now. I mean, he used to walk around with us humans all the time, just like a human, with feet to be washed and everything. But I thought we didn't really think that any more, because God seems just like one of us, then, only with some magic powers. Please note the meal described below contains both meat and milk; I guess the God of the Jews doesn't keep [i]strictly[/b] kosher. Gen 18
1 And the LORD appeared to him by the oaks of Mamre, as he sat at the door of his tent in the heat of the day. 2 He lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, three men stood in front of him. When he saw them, he ran from the tent door to meet them, and bowed himself to the earth, 3 and said, "My lord, if I have found favor in your sight, do not pass by your servant. 4 Let a little water be brought, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree, 5 while I fetch a morsel of bread, that you may refresh yourselves, and after that you may pass on--since you have come to your servant." So they said, "Do as you have said." 6 And Abraham hastened into the tent to Sarah, and said, "Make ready quickly three measures of fine meal, knead it, and make cakes." 7 And Abraham ran to the herd, and took a calf, tender and good, and gave it to the servant, who hastened to prepare it. 8 Then he took curds, and milk, and the calf which he had prepared, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree while they ate. 9 They said to him, "Where is Sarah your wife?" And he said, "She is in the tent." 10 The LORD said, "I will surely return to you in the spring, and Sarah your wife shall have a son."

quote: Hello PecosGeorge, Just curious here about your transliteration "aloham", because transliterations can result in confusion. Do you mean instead to say:
ברוך אתה אדני אלהינו מלך העולם (Baruk atah adonai, Elohainu, melech ha'olam) Blessed are you Lord, our God, king of the infinity (or, the universe). This would seem to make better sense than anything your transliteration "aloham" might otherwise be intending to refer to, such as עלֵֹהֶם (over them), for instance. If this is what you intended, it is the common beginning to Jewish thanksgiving and blessing prayers for most holy days. And while the developed theology of both Jews and Christians is self-evident, this does little to invalidate schrafinator's point that some earlier writings tend to describe יהוה in less omniscient terms. Hi schrafinator,
You're very welcome. But no thanks are really necessary; I just try to tell it like I see it. I do, however, think that it is poor form to post something in an alternate language without providing translation for those readers who may not have had occasion to familiarize themselves with it. As always, Amlodhi

Thanks. My Hebrew is as awful as is my French, but I'm fairly good in German.
It is the beginning of the Jewish prayer, or supposed to be. The circular discussion apparent in Schrafinator's post to me is unacceptable. Round and round is for the ponies at the carnival, those sorry and hapless creatures. I love this invocation and decided to share it. I'm not into anything that would lead to proof of God's existence, what he looks like, why he would need a home, and things like that. He cannot be proved, will never be, since it would topple the faith premise on which his requirements are based. Thank you again.

quote: I have no reason to attack your position. But you must understand that some of us choose a different starting point from which to begin the investigation.
quote: (chuckle). . more than I can say, but therein lies an anecdote. My son had organized a local chess club in the university town where he lived. And there was a wonderful specialty coffee shop that allowed the club to meet and use the tables there on Wednesday nights. I would often join them for some play and carried a flexible board with the pieces in a separate box. As it happened, the pieces were made in Germany so all the writing on the box was in German. At one point during play a darling young female waitress, who appeared to be about high school age, came up to my table to refresh my coffee. Seeing the German writing on the box she asked me, (in what appeared to be wide-eyed wonder), if I was from Germany. Now, when I was in high school (back in the dark-ages), I had taken two years of German, though I have forgotten most of it through years of disuse. Nevertheless, I felt that I had retained just enough to briefly tease this young lady. So I replied: "Jah. Ich bin ein Deutschlander. Haben sie Deutsch in der schule?" Her joy was palpable as she commenced to bombard me with rapid-fire and (to me) unintelligible Germanic speech. As it turned out, she had spent the majority of her young life living in Germany and had only recently returned with her parents to the U.S. As I said, she was a delightful young lady and when her shift ended she allowed me to instruct her chess play; even if she didn't need my help with her German. You`ve retained more than I have, Amlodhi. Apart from the first two lines of 'Die Lorelei', I think I`d be stretched with 'Haben sie ein buch, bitte.' :-P
