Actually, you are asking this question to Jesus Christ. He would sleep beside you, but you would be unable or unwilling to act out in any fashion upon His body. He would fill your heart and soul with love and you would feel as if you were a child sleeping with his Daddy but nothing sexual would come of it...nor would there be any need.Troy---I'm not trying to preach to you. Think of it like one of your nephews wanting to sleep with you. They would only seek to cuddle and love you....as you would do with the Lord.And if it were me...(God would definitely have to set that one up)

While I can see the blatant hypocrisy in the current administration, are we labeling ALL right wingers as the same? Is the ideology of "Right Wing" synonomous with the blatant disregard for people with no money?

Personally, I am pro choice even though I think that abortions are taken too lightly...as if they were as routine as pulling a tooth.I am also for the death penalty in principle because some crimes are so horrendous as to warrant it..but I am opposed to legislation of morality so I guess that I am against the death penalty as well.

Because it costs too darn much to keep these people in prison for 70+ years! Society has enough expenses without spending it on lifetime incarceration(free public housing) It costs $100.00 a day minimum...times 365=$36,500.00 a year times seventy= two and a half million dollars not including medical care! Just zap em! a few cents worth of juice and less headache.(Thanks moose for the math edit)This does not take into consideration the trial which would cost upwards of one hundred thousand dollars.This message has been edited by Phatboy, 04-11-2005 05:52 AM

My response was tongue in cheek. Sort of "a modest proposal." This society spends too much on a lot more things than prisoners. War, for one. I DO protest when my education costs continue to go higher and when my insurance goes higher as well. In order to spend money more wisely, we need to find better ways to rehab young offenders besides jail so that they won't reoffend. We need to take care of our older population before we take care of prisoners. Of course, all of this could be done if we stopped spending 100 billion dollars a year trying to straighten up another country after thoroughly blowing them up!

I missed this lesson in my Western Civ class. Were my teachers mere Capitalist tools??

I always thought of the book of acts as socialism with a Christian
twist. I may give my private property over to the Messiah or His immediate Apostles, but I sure would never give it up to a bunch of revolutionaries who are as corrupt as my local grocery union!Heck, they always want to jack a brother once he gets anything in life...just so poor little Miss civil rights can have a position sitting on her butt while us guys have to throw freight!
