I don't go out. I might miss something on the internet. Buy a Netbook and a dongle. You can still man your spacecraft when you are out of the house!

Are you kidding?
Streaming porn and real time UFO sighting coverage at cranc.org is impossible on a dongle!

Yeah, film Oscars, completely worthless when compared to the marvellous EvCfroum Oscars! Selected by worthless people too, as compared to the obviously hyper intelligent yet still sociably very agreeable peoples who give out the nominations here on EvC! (Hey, gotta earn my Oscar)
Benjamin Button was nominated for 13 Oscars. You do know if you win an Evcforum Oscar you need to wear a Golden Anaorak?
And I will do so proudly. I hunt for the truth I am the one Orgasmatron, the outstretched grasping handMy image is of agony, my servants rape the land Obsequious and arrogant, clandestine and vain Two thousand years of misery, of torture in my name Hypocrisy made paramount, paranoia the law My name is called religion, sadistic, sacred whore. -Lyrics by Lemmy Kilmister of Motorhead

Hi, Straggler.
Straggler writes: I agree with your choice of Phat in many respects but my own personal favourite is Bluejay. Never afraid to challenge his own beliefs and someone who has taught me a lot. I feel genuinely enlightened about why people believe because of Bluejay (amongst others but he stands out) and it has indisputably softened my attitude to faith in my time here (believe it or not). And, my award for the best nomination goes to Straggler, for nominating Bluejay! Thank you. Though I don't really think I deserve it: what you call beliefs and faith feels more like chronic indecision and insecurity to me. I think I can only nominate rational people, because theirs are the only posts I can relate to in any way. So, I'll only recognize two categories: religious and other. In my view, Iano is far and away the best religious poster on this website (even when I include myself in that number). I have never seen him lose his temper or write a pointed response, and he always responds thoughtfully and articulately, completely unfazed by my polypolar mood swings, and never takes the fundamentalist viewpoint that his opponents are completely wrong (as so many bible-debaters do). For the non-religious side, I have always been an admirer of Modulous, Percy and Straggler (yes, I'm now referring to you in third-person: it's a bit awkward otherwise). The combination of intelligence, objectivity and clear thinking that y'all display in every debate is something I've tried to emulate, and the opportunity to learn critical thinking skills from y'all is one of the primary reasons I keep coming back to EvC. -Bluejay (a.k.a. Mantis, Thylacosmilus) Darwin loves you.

Streaming porn and real time UFO sighting coverage at cranc.org is impossible on a dongle! That's probably the most useful piece of information posted at EvC for many a year. Thanks for test-piloting this, I can save money by not buying a dongle!

I did too!
I think Mrs. Straggler is using my posts as a verbal 'rolling pin' on poor straggler.
I told you that 23 hours a day on discussion boards is not normal!

In truth I was just annoyed that you were better at spelling than me.

Oni writes: I felt some late night drunken anger in this post. Drunken? Yes. Angry? No. In my own mind, at the time, I was the very definition of subtle wit and ironic humour with an undercurrent of post-modern sarcastic pathos. Reading back now I just sound like a wanker.

In truth she doesn't need much of an excuse....... Tell me about it! I've one here just the same, although we haven't tied the knot yet.
