Faith writes: The Constitution requires that a President be born in the USA ... False. Again. I see you know no more about the Constitution than you do geology and yet hold your positions in high regard. What ever happened to studying a topic BEFORE coming to conclusions? Oh yeah, that's not how Faith works. JB

Faith writes: ... But being born in Kenya of a Kenyan father does disqualify Obama from the Presidency ... Do you just wake up in the morning and decide to make shit up that's not true? First you asserted that one had to be born in the US to be President. Now you're asserting that the Kenyan father disqualifies him. Aren't Christians supposed to go to hell unless they tell the truth? Have you ever ONCE thought about studying before speaking? JB

Faith writes: Depends on whether it's Constitutionally okay for Obama to have been born in Kenya of a Kenyan father .. So now, after bald face lies that you know the Constitution and know who is and who is not eligible, you're saying it "depends". Ok, I'll bite -- what does it depend on Ms Constitutional expert? And remember, your god is watching to make sure what you say it true. JB

Faith writes: ha. Right. So now explain why it's so evil for the "birthers" to claim he was born in Kenya? Just agree with them instead of calling them names. Nope, clearly there IS a problem with his having been born in Kenya of a Kenyan father. See, that would make them like you and they're not like you - they actually care what's true and what's not. Just because he can be born in Kenya and be President doesn't mean that suddenly it's Ok to lie. (I know, I know ... it's a hard concept for you to grasp). So, Ms Constitutional expert ... Do you have to be born in the US to be president? Does both the Mother and the Father have to be a US citizen for one to be a "natural born US citizen"? Remember, a few posts ago you confidently asserted that both the above were in fact true. And remember that you God is watching to hold you accountable if you say things that aren't true. JB

Faith writes: I'm relying completely on the assembled genius on this thread about the Constitutionality of a President's being born of a foreign father in a foreign land with an American mother. That's a total dodge of the simple straight up question. You made two very clear claims:
Faith writes: The Constitution requires that a President be born in the USA ... And
Faith writes: But being born in Kenya of a Kenyan father does disqualify Obama from the Presidency ... Do you care if the above is true of false? What would you God think of you continue to spew nonsense that isn't to about the above? JB

Faith writes: Well, I concluded it from information given by you all here, so if it's nonsense it's YOUR nonsense. You're lying again, and Jesus knows it. IF it's MY nonsense, kindly link to the message with the evidence that shows that such information came from me (or any of the folk arguing with you about this point. Now let me give you a hint as to what you are looking for to get out of your lie. You are looking for a quote where one of your opponents tells you that being born in Kenya of a Kenyan father and US citizen mother precludes someone from being president. Good luck. ThanksJB

Faith writes: Read up thread a tad and read in context for a change. Avoidance (and Jesus knows it) I've read up the thread. Nowhere did I (or will you) find where I or anyone you are arguing with told you that being born in Kenya of a Kenyan father and a US citizen mother makes one ineligible to be President, and yet that's what you claimed. Now you want to deflect and blame others (and Jesus knows it)
faith writes: Well, I concluded it from information given by you all here, so if it's nonsense it's YOUR nonsense. It's YOUR lie and everyone here (including you) know is -- you just made it up. Evidence please. JB

Jon writes: Let me give you a personal example to illustrate my concerns here. Hardly anyone I know would describe me as being from the town I was actually born inincluding my parents. Pretty funny as I'm in the same situation. My parents traveled to a distance city for a concert and I arrived early. Literally only a birth certificate and a birth announcement in the local paper (automatically place there, not placed by my parents or relatives) connects me to the town of my birth, while there are of course many, many connections to my home town to be found (school records, dental, medical, church, etc.).
