All this over a freakin biscuit!
It does make the Incan gold the RCC stole pale into insignificance.
And all those other priceless treasures that the vatican has stolen from the peoples of the world, the RCs don't seem too upset about that, but a scabby little biscuit!
They don't even taste good, maybe if you put a bit cheese on it or had a cup of tea with it that might help.

body of Christ and people are eating them does that not make them cannibals?
Which is just what many early Christians were accused of.

Hypocrites
Does anyone else see the hypocricy of the Roman Catholics here?
How many cultures has this institution brutalised? How many temples of so called 'pagan' gods has this institution demolished? The Roman Catholic Church's history is littered with murder, attempted genocide, child abuse, forced conversions, anti-semitism, and a whole range of other inhuman acts, and they freak out about a wafer!
Even if it is symbolic of their failed messiah, so what? It doesn't change anything.
Catholics have got a cheek anyway, they chop and change their beliefs every five minutes, next week the partaking of wafers could be done away with.
Give the Vatican a few quid for the wafer, that will keep them happy, since the RCC is obsessed with money.

Re: Hypocrites
I'm sure neither of them has ever killed a pagan.
They still choose to associate themselves with the institution that carried out these atrocites, fully sanctioned by many different Popes.
They should just 'turn the other wafer' just like Jesus said they should do.
Luke 6:27:
"But I say to you who are listening: Love your enemies. Do good to those who hate you.
I know RC's are not big on taking the Bible literally, but I think this verse is pretty unambiguous.

Re: Hypocrites
You... well, your country invented bagpipes
This is one of those common misconceptions, I think Turkey was the origin.
Didn't notice you complaining about whisky.
