I think this was a bad move. I don't understand why people think that unskilled labour should deserve anything more that 2x minimum wage at a maximum (even after 40+ years of loyal service). Current unskilled auto-union workers can make so much money it's laughable why anyone would consider going to post-secondary school.
Unless, perhaps the union wages you're talking about were for skilled labour or they are already rather low. I'm just talking about general auto-unions.
Just a personal pet-peeve of mine, I'm not looking for an arguement.
In presidential news, I'm glad Obama won. I think it was the better choice, but that is still yet to be seen. As with most things, only time will tell, I suppose.
