How do you guys who visit other forums deal with particularly stupid, ignorant but stubborn creationists?

Both of those have failed.These two guys don't understand what shame is and when we argue that since they reject evolution, they reject virtually all sciences they go into childish tantrums despite arguments that show that the sciences we are talking about are practical ones.One of the morons even went so far as to argue that since they are ganged up on, they are right never mind any mention at all of how their arguments were total crap. He is now trying to weasel out of that argument despite my linking of his post. Shame is not something they understand.They are now more or less ignoring everything they don't like even so far as to pretend parts of our posts don't exist.And one of them is pretty stupid. I noted that once I brought up an argument, he got the hell out, he's arguing I'm using the fallacy of emotive language since I said Hell.....how do you deal with this kind of moron?Edited by obvious Child, : No reason given.

Yeah but then they claim to be victims. What I always find amusing is that these same people attack 'liberals' for their culture of victimhood but they have no problem using it when they are losing.There are at least four threads asking creationists to prove their claims of creation and not one has an decent argument or any evidence. I bring up false dichotomy and they just pretend it doesn't exist.

I've tried mostly everything. Someone even tried slowly reasoning them through it, reminding them of other religions and what definitions actually mean. Obviously that person was ignored.

Against creationism in general? no.Against biblical creationism? Loads.

What makes you think we haven't?

I don't know. I've tried arguments where they have to defend how creationism is true and those all fail. these two morons seem impervious to logic, reason and facts. And I get the feeling neither of them graduated from high school.

You can't convince someone who refuses to read or educate themselves.The guy uses quote mines. I've even cited the letter from an author who was misquoted saying he was misquoted and he went so far as to state that the author is revising history. How do you deal with someone THAT removed from reality?

As I see it, you rarely win anything here. And the last major thread I remember you making was that Obama was a Muslim, which I gave logic against and you pretended did not exist. I still haven't gotten a reply to that post.

Depends what you are arguing in scripture. Trying to argue that the Bible is a science book is stupid. Trying to argue what the bible says about scripture is entirely different.

Define "substantial"The morons I'm talking to can't even figure out that cosmology is NOT evolution.

I've seen that before. I've even seen a forum where the creationist admin banned a bunch of people because they were making bantha hash out of his creationist members and his member were resorting to personal insults. Sad isn't it?The 2 morons i'm dealing with haven't won any arguments in the forum ever. In formal debates they always lose. It's gotten to the point where they are claiming everyone against them is the same person (despite how the internet actually works and the admin's ability to figure out who's using proxies) and that because they are outnumbered, they are right. We have a thread right now where one is trying to weasel out of that argument despite links and quotes of him arguing just that.I realize that people are morons, but there has to be some rational way of dealing with them other then the hitting them over the head with 2 by 4s.
