If you can send me one of the bounces (either my registered email address, or the Admin one), I'll take a look. I don't know if that will help. I am reputed to be something of an email guru.
If you send a message, make sure full headers are included.

The server time appears to be one hour off.
Probably the change from daylight savings time to standard time was never saved to the CMOS clock, so after a reboot it reverted to daylight savings time.

AdminRandman started the topic, then by edit changed the message 1 ID to randman (non-admin mode). On the "Alltopic" index page, the topic originator persists as being AdminRandman. Maybe some sort of manually triggered thread rebuild is required to fix this? Adminnemooseus

Does it need fixing?
It is in the "practice makes perfect" forum, which seems a good place to make these mistakes. Maybe randman can just change the first article owner back to AdminRandman, so that the moose will be happy.

Admin has commented at the topic in question.
It is certainly less critical in a "Practice Makes Perfect" topic, but such can and probably has happened in other forums. Adminnemooseus

I'm getting a space character inserted after 174 characters of my link URL. That space invalidates the URL; they get broken and point to the wrong (default) content. Any idea? Ben P.S. Yes, I understand this is my punishment for using MSN for anything. AbE: Changed the second URL to a "tiny URL" to make it work. The bug remains. Here's the info: Original LinkContent the above link SHOULD browse to This message has been edited by Ben, Wednesday, 2005/11/23 08:04 PM

I'm not sure that is a forum bug.
Both links in the referenced article worked fine for me. Maybe it's a broken browser problem.

Sorry...
The links work, but they both go to the same content. The webpage uses query string arguments to determine what content to use. Because the URL is broken, they both browse to the default content. Ben

Thanks, that's a good workaround.

If instead of doing this (linefeeds manually inserted to keep lines from being too long):
You do this:
Original Link Then it should work fine:
You can also link directly to the picture using [img] or [thumb]:
Nice tree! You encountered a known bug, but because of the availability of it isn't a high priority. It's a Perl substitute command that's misbehaving, I can post it if you'd like to examine it, though there's no guarantee the problem doesn't lie in downstream ccode.

Maybe not really a bug
The picture of the month on the main site page is the same picture as last month. Did somebody forget to change it?

May I recommend this UV shot of the "9th" Archaeopteryx?
No webpage found at provided URL: http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2005/12/images/051201_archaeopteryx.jpgPicture of 9th. Archy The image is exquisite, and the evidence it provides for a dinosaur-like foot makes it especially relevant. edited by AdminJar to change image on NG to a link to NG.
