Defence of Intelligent Design

I'm Bran,
I am writing a paper in defense of Intelligent design, along with all of my six other classes I don't have time to look through 200,000 google items so if anyone can point me to any good defense of ID. Any help is greatly appreciated. I am also a creationist and a bible believing christian and any insight from creationists is appreciated as well.BRAN

Yes I do understand what ID means, from ireducible complexity to addaptational packages. While i do understand it i still am strugling to defend it at this time, due to a lack of good sources.BRAN

Well were to begin, for starters you said nothing relating to the theory, you merely created a straw man and classified me as a religious fundamentalist rather than focusing on the arguments. In truth you have no concept of real science if you would like to give me food for thought than present real arguments based on science, instead of a bunch of crap about "oh it is obviously wrong", that's bull and completely unscientific. And for another thing those people are my friends and if you would like to bad mouth them then perhaps you can stop hiding behind you computer and tell me a place were you can meet me and tell me to my face. I understand fine science and the various theory's and would enjoy your scientific advise, if such a thing exists, and i will run my life and believe whatever i please and i don't need advise from someone who claims to be related to an ape.BRAN

I'm am sincerely sry. Bad day at school may explain it and I'm truly interested in learning and am sry i blew up and displayed a truly unchristian response and would like to admit that my response was wrong. Flies I'm am sry for my misrepresentation of my faith and would like to continue on congenial terms and continued to benefit from the many knowledgeable men on this site. As for the ape comment, while accusing of a straw man i committed one and am truly sry. Flies perhaps if we could stick to science fact and keep my friends and my christianity out of our discussion and treat me as merely as an advocate of ID. I apologized, if I thought that the accusations were grounded I wouldn't have apologized. As i said I was having a bad day to begin with and I come home irate already b/c of school, check my email telling me I got a reply on EvC Forum, so I check and read (this is what slightly offended me, i say that not as a justification, mind you):FilesOnly writes:

In Genesis we are given the account of Cain and Able, Cain killed his brother and was disowned and became a Gentile, Gentiles are of the line of cain. The gentile line began with Cain pre-flood. Them later, post-flood after all were killed with the exception of noah, came Abraham, as the custom of the Semitic people, if a wife was infertile, she would give her husband her maidservant to bare him an heir, This is what happened with Abraham and Sarah, only the difference was that God promised an heir though Sarah and the child her maidservant gave birth to was then disowned, and all the maidservant's son's descendants were known as Gentiles (outsiders). And that is why we are not all jewish.Bran

Very Interesting, but the only thing you neglected was that both examples remained with in the same species, the fly while different it still was a fly, not a bird or even a wasp but a fly and the syphilis still an illness not another organism.BRAN

Nature was capable, yes but only if it was instructed by something/ someone, in other word it had the puzzle pieces but it just needed the creator to place the pieces correctly together. pieces + creator = lifeBRAN

No not at all. What I am saying is that micro-evolution can occur many times w/o becoming macro-evolution. I most likely do not look anything like you (unless something really sick is going on) and our parents do not look alike, ect.. we all look different but are humans, billions of micro-evolutionary events, rather than calling it micro-evolution i prefer "purposed variation", again a true ID term, but I believe that the creator, who ever it may be, purposed that variation within a species might occur, but not eventually creating a new species.BRAN

You brought up that you or I have never seen an irreducibly complex organism created, but also i have never seen anything macro-evolve either, could you please direct me to were i can read up and find out what macro-evolutionary events I am missing out on.BRAN
