I also heard that we will have to pay for illegal immigrants to come over here and have babies. That won't really be much of a problem since Obama will eat them.

The Democrat party is politically liberal, socially liberal. The Republican party is politically liberal, socially conservative. The tea party folks are politically conservative, and socially try very hard not to state an opinion at all. The Republican and Democrat parties both despise the folks with the crazy idea known as political conservatism. Both of those parties, and their members, trash and lie about the tea party folks because they represent the biggest threat to the other two parties dividing the spoils of government up between them. A pox on both their houses! The Democratic party is politically conservative, socially liberal, and not mad. The Republican party is politically conservative, socially conservative, and somewhat mad. The tea party folks are politically conservative, socially conservative, and completely mad.

"I tell people don’t kill all the liberals. Leave enough so we can have two on every campus living fossils so we will never forget what these people stood for." --- Rush Limbaugh.
"I repeat: Should the entire American Left fall over dead tomorrow, I would rejoice, and order pizza to celebrate. They are not my countrymen; they are animals who happen to walk upright and make noises that approximate speech. They are below human. I look forward to seeing each and every one in Hell." --- RedState contributor Thomas Crown. "I would have no problem with [New York Times editor Bill Keller] being sent to the gas chamber." --- Melanie Morgan "My only regret with Timothy McVeigh is he did not go to the New York Times Building." --- Ann Coulter

You folks own him until you speak out against him and shame him off the political scene. And what sauce shall we use for the gander?

Hey, remember when the chairman of the R.N.C. had to apologize to Limbaugh? For saying that Limbaugh wasn't the leader of the Republican party, and that he sometimes made ugly remarks?

You still haven't managed to distance yourself, or progressives in general, from Sean Penn's comments that tea party members should be sent to mental reeducation camps, similar to what occurred in the old Soviet Union. You have yet to say that's not a good idea, and that Sean Penn shouldn't be given the forum to express those radical views. Now's your big chance! Distance yourself from those hateful ideas, then perhaps we can move on. Let me know when you can address the repugnant statements Penn made, which seem to reflect a widespread attitude among progressives. Sure, since you ask. I completely disassociate myself from and denounce the idea that any attempt should be made to make Ted Cruz saner or indeed smarter than he currently is. Now your turn. Will you repudiate genocide, as you have been asked to do, or will you continue to give tacit consent to the extermination of tens of millions of your fellow Americans?

As to whether Cruz is crazy, well, yeah, a bit:
"We understand that our rights come not from a king or queen, not from government, but from the Lord God almighty. But if America is going to continue to stand strong, we must first be on our knees." --- Ted Cruz. "Agenda 21 attempts to abolish unsustainable environments, including golf courses, grazing pastures, and paved roads. It hopes to leave mother earth’s surface unscratched by mankind. . . . Agenda 21 subverts liberty, our property rights, and our sovereignty." --- Ted Cruz, conspiracy theorist. "You look at our Constitution, you look at our Bill of Rights, this is an administration that seems bound and determined to violate every single one of our Bill of Rights." --- Ted Cruz, paranoid lunatic. "I mentioned that if you were trying to design a law to hurt young people, ObamaCare--you couldn't do better than that. Well, it has produced a lost generation." --- Ted Cruz, speaking six days before Obamacare actually took effect, because pfft, time goes in whatever direction he likes. "Marxists who believed in the Communists overthrowing the United States government." --- Ted Cruz on ... go on, you'll never guess ... the faculty of Harvard Law School. "Sharia law is an enormous problem [in the US]" --- Ted Cruz, once more demonstrating his firm grip on reality. "We need 100 more like Jesse Helms." --- Ted Cruz, who presumably went on to call for "more holes in our heads". "If we keep going down this path, we're risking losing our nation; we're risking losing the incredible oasis of liberty." --- Ted Cruz on ... go on, guess. No? Gay rights, of course. I can also provide evidence that liberals are alive, if anyone doubts it. So, Coyote, do we have a deal? We liberals will undertake to let Cruz go on being a bit nutty if you conservatives for your part will let us go on breathing. Will you renounce once and for all the genocide advocated by Limbaugh, the terrorism supported by Coulter? The ball's in your court.

Cuccinelli? He's behind in the polls. Despite his protestations, the people of Virginia still think he blows.

Somebody is doing a terrible job at explaining this new law to employers. Specifically, the Republican Party.

Nixon is the one who had problems with his staff. Clinton had problems with his rod... And George Bush Sr. had problems at the polls.

We should take care that such doesn't happen here. Well thank heaven we've got conservatives around to battle against "central control of everything". And to ensure that sharia doesn't become the law of the land, that's something they've been very successful at. And they've kept Obama from taking all our guns away, and we haven't been herded into FEMA death camps, and none of us have been ... what is it that death panels do again? Well, they haven't done that. And above all we're safe from Saddam Hussein's weapons of mass destruction. Yes, if you want to be protected from imaginary threats, the conservatives are your guys. One day maybe they'll graduate to solving real problems.

Yes, it's no coincidence that every great achievement from putting a man on the moon to liberating Europe from the Nazis to the abolition of smallpox was achieved by private entities competing in the free market rather than by central planning. As the man says, with that grasp of history, common sense, economics and grammar so typical of conservative commentators: "history and common sense, along with a large catalog of economic theory tells us that central planning has not and cannot work."
