I see that Rick Perry has officially declared. So: Rick Perry. Governor of Texas. I think his point is that given the Republican's predilection for crazy candidates, Bachmann and Perry would have been easily outstripped by Charles Manson if only he was available to run.

Well apparently Bachmann thinks that the USSR is our enemy.

And yet what Bachmann is apparently worried about is India, which is the world's largest democracy and an ally against Muslim extremism; China, which keeps lending us money; and the USSR, which hasn't existed for the last twenty years. She didn't mention Iran, Syria or Lebanon, and opposed action against Gaddafi's Libya.
