Re: Breaking Laws that you don't know about.
Wow you innately know not to wear certain fibers ! that's amazing!
The laws of the Pentateuch, if followed as designed would surely to the death of all and sundry!

Re: Clarification of what the Law is I hope
So it's the Decalogue you want to discuss? Exodus 20:2-17, Exodus 34:12-26, or Deuteronomy 5:6-21?
So we are saying cameras are evil? ("any graven image, or any likeness of any thing)
But surely America must be evil as well (no god other than Yahweh is to be worshipped)
Should I honour my father if he is a nonce?
All of those seem very subjective things - how can one viewpoint of god based upon those subjective things be more valid than another?

Re: Yet another interpretation.
I'm confused - I thought Jesus was God (or at least an aspect or avatar) surely God's rage was his rage?

Want respect show a little respect
I would suggest that you as someone who likes people to behave in a civil manner refrain from describe other people's beliefs as "Silly subjective feelings". You may not agree with then but as you very regularly tell people it is not for you to push your worldview upon them.

Aside
quote:
I suspect you are right. I wonder which if any of the books of the Bible would be considered authentic by many here, including any gnostic or other books.
Hum..I might start a topic on this but that's actually one of the reasons that I'd never been a christian again. I'd honestly be unable to reconcile the fact that I feel that the bible is incorrect or just plain wrong in some many ways (and it would drag this way way off topic if we got in which bits) with any feelings of faith.
