In context, he refused to answer unequivocally whether the President had the right to ignore or deliberately contravene legislation which he
personally felt was unconstitutional - regardless or in the absence of any court ruling on its constitutionality. Sigh. The only good thing is Gonzales appears to be at least marginally less nutty than Ashcroft was.
