How does evolution explain the gaps?

Surely, if you are an evolutionist you have to
say 'I don't know, let's check'

That's what I meant ... the question is asked and you
say 'I don't know, let's check.'OR you cite the evidence if you have already checked

But if the question is about DNA, you need to check
and see what the results are. You can compare that to
other lines of evidence after as a cross-check.

To be honest, that's what I thought you probably meant
but it was a good opportunity to emphasise the scientific
nature of evolutionists
