Someone will reply that they have evidence that the Bible is true. You'll say they don't. You'll settle on an example, perhaps the Exodus, and start discussing the evidence for it. This has been done to death, which is fine, nothing wrong with repeats because the participants and audience are ever-changing, but I'd like to wait a while before starting the equivalent of another Exodus thread.So convince me that your thread won't end as just another Exodus thread. I understand the point you're making, but the lack of specifics make it likely that it will take the path of least resistance end up as another Exodus thread. Provide some specifics that insure it won't take that direction.

That's not the topic of this thread.This thread is for discussing those aspects of religious beliefs that are accepted on faith. You're still arguing about this thread's topic, and I've already ruled on this issue. I also made certain before promoting the thread that it wouldn't be just another thread about evidence. I know what the topic is because I made sure it was clearly established before promotion. You have a long history of not grasping clear explanations, so if you still don't think the topic has been clearly established then I'm certain there's nothing I can do to help you.I said you could continue posting in this forum if you weren't arguing that your beliefs are supported by material evidence, but that's exactly what you're arguing. So please stop posting to this thread or you'll lose posting permissions in this forum.

I'm throwing in the towel on trying to enforce this thread's topic, for these reasons:

• The person who proposed the thread is not participating.

• No one from the religious side accepts the originally proposed definition of faith

• No one's interested in discussing the type of faith that isn't supported by evidence.
  ​
• Almost all of participants are interested in talking about faith supported by evidence, and in fact a significant discussion along these lines is already taking place.
