Intelligent design. Philosophy of ignorance.

When one looks at the marvels of science and engineering that have come into existence, one knows beyond a shadow of a doubt that it took the creative talent and work of man for this to come into being.But when evolutionists look at the incredible design and complexity of macro and micro space, with all its myriad forms of plants, animals, and inorganic substances, they ever spend their finite lives to somehow conclude there is no Creator cause behind our existence.Go figure!

You see the wonders of macro and micro design, and yet can only conclude that it is natural design, and not design by the Creator. And then you call my argument ignorance, silly, and hypocritical. Talk about an unwillingness to consider that their belief may be wrong ................!!!!

So my augument is ignorant when we look at the wonders that man has made and conculde man's intelligence and design has created these wonders. The macro and micro worlds of animals, plants and inorganic matter are infinitely more complex in design and wonder than anything man has made, yet there is not even the remote possibility that the Creator is the cause behind our existence.And my argument is based on ignorance and credulity, and I have misrepresented what you have said.The shoe is clearly on the other foot.

Your reasoning works just as well in reverse.The main reason people cannot see the wonderful and complex designs in nature is that they do not want there to be a Creator who has possibly designed the world around them. They've never questioned whether they could be wrong ...

The basic principle of design works this way:Purpose/Plan Preceeds Product.When one looks as the wonders man has made, one does not usually wonder on the nature of man. When one looks as the wonders man has made, one usually reflects on the amazing creativeness man has to create such wonders that have benefited man through science and medicine. Man also has the ability to create things that can be used for both good or mis-used for evil.By the same token, when I think of the Intelligent Designer, I reflect on the Intelligent Designer's amazing creativeness to create such incredible cosmologies that mankind can use for good or for evil.

I accept the Guinea Worm story you have spoken about (and many others you could give as examples) as being a prime example of living in a "fallen world" that is "not" how the Intelligent Designer designed the world to function in the beginning.

The purpose of ID is simply to allow school children to consider an alternate reason behind why we exist, rather than "only" allowing evolution without ID to be taught as fact, when in fact evolution is far far from a proven fact.If evolutionists think evolution is not a religion, then they are sadly mistaken.Religion - a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe.A religion does not have to believe in God to be a religion. Evolutionists certainly believe in set of beliefs concerning the cause and nature of the universe, although they have no answer for the purpose of the universe.The purpose of not allowing the possibility of ID to be taught as an alternate reason behind why we exist is so that the religion of evolutionists can be taught, to the exclusion of any other considerations.Edited by John 10:10, : No reason given.

Maybe you would like to try answering some of the questions the Lord posed to Job in Chapters 38-41.After being thoroughly humbled, Job responded in 42:2,"I know that You can do anything and no plan of Yours can be thwarted."Yes, there was a fall, and life that exists after the fall is not what the Lord intended it to be. All plants, animals, humans, and heavenly bodies were designed by an Intelligent Designer. The wonderful complexity of micro and macro space is too marvelous to even consider that all of life and the universe could have come about by chance from nothing. I am very sorry that most at this forum cannot take the first step towards accepting the truth that intelligent design and an Intelligent Designer is the reason for our existence.True science has shown how a number of natural, physical and cosmological laws work in our world and universe, but true science has not come close to actually showing how matter can come from nothing and evolve itself into today's existence.The Theory of Evolution has been at the center of many social and religious controversies since its inception because of its potential implications for the origins of humankind. Although the Theory of Evolution will always be just a theory, most evolutionists now consider it to be proven fact and teach it as such, allowing no alternate explanations to be taught in modern biology.The definition of religion is "a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe." Even though the Theory of Evolution has no explanation concerning the purpose of the universe, it is certainly a religion of unproven beliefs which tries to explain the cause and nature of the universe; yet our education systems allow no other religious beliefs contrary to evolution to be taught in our schools, hiding behind a fiat that says the Theory of Evolution is now proven science, when in fact it is nothing but pseudo science at its best, and patently false at its worst.
