BTW evolutionist is not really the correct terminology, the term evolutionist brings evolutionary theory down the level of the term creationist, which is just wrong.
I assume you've heard of Ernst Mayr? How about Niles Eldredge? Stephen Gould? The use of the term evolutionist - as in advocate of evolution - has a good history. I figure if some of the best minds in evolutionary biology can use it, that's good enough for me.
