Re: But you still haven't answered
huh?
come on, keep up. if intercourse is only for making babies then you shouldn't be having non-procreative sex with your wife.

Re: Responsibility
yes. bearing live children is an immense risk to the mother. in order to be able to develop our amazing (but apparently useless) brains, we took that risk instead of laying our eggs and leaving them.

Re: Responsibility
how does bacteria not have a will if humans do? they are alive; they have horizontal sex in order to share traits they need; they have moving parts and attack what they intend to eat. just because they are smaller than you they don't have a will but you do? that's stupid.

Re: Responsibility

Re: Responsibility
well. i don't intend to. but we as a species take that risk every time we get knocked up. we don't have the choice to lay eggs anymore. and for you to think i meant that you'd have to be pretty stupid.

i think it's time to wrap it up
i'm not responding to you anymore until you pull your head out of your butt.
this thread has gotten so ridiculous and you keep asking the most bizarre questions that have absolutely nothing to do with abortion. this is so nowhere near topic it's unbelievable that it's gone unchecked. and now you want me to defend some hair-brained idea that you have that i said i chose not to lay eggs? what is your problem? the only thing i can imagine that would cause this is that you haven't a leg to stand on and you're simply being argumentative. you've refused again and again to acknowledge the only sane statement on this thread (amazingly enough, mine) about abortion legislation being an infringement on the patient-doctor relationship and an inherently sexist statement about how women can't be trusted with their own medical choices and treatment and now you're asking me when i chose to stop laying eggs.
i think it's time this topic go the way of the dodo.

Re: i think it's time to wrap it up
Your unbelievable.
my unbelievable what?
oh sure you meant you're. but what you said and what you meant are two different things.
Just another selfish view point.
it's selfish to want to have private advice from my doctor and it's selfish to think that i'm capable of making my own medical decisions?
If your incapable of expressing your self cleary to the point where at least the idea you can make some sense, then that is what you'll get.
everyone else understood me.

Re: i think it's time to wrap it up
You are confusing me. I am not talking about a medical decision. I don't care what goes on between you and your doctor. I care about people being liable for their actions.
abortion is something that is between my doctor and myself. it has nothing to do with anyone else and it is me being responsible for my actions and preventing another unwanted pregnancy and another unwanted child.
