Hi, Kuresu.

Out of curiosity, are you an american citizen? If not, you can't contribute. I'd recommend a better promise to Buz, one that you can carry out legally.
Weren't there allegations that Obama had received foreign contributions? My parents were on about that for awhile (but, I've kind of stopped listening to them when they talk about politics: they're fundamentalist Christian conspiracy theorists, like Buzz).

Hi, Buzz.

All Obama would've needed to do if he wanted to quell these allegations is to be as open as the McCain campaign was regarding donor lists.
It's easy to be open about your associations when you purposefully shun everybody that might make you look bad, the way Republicans do. Of course, I'm sure you remember the part from the New Testament where the Pharisees were smearing Jesus about who He hung out with, right?:
quote:
16 And when the scribes and Pharisees saw him eat with publicans and sinners, they said unto his disciples, How is it that he eateth and drinketh with publicans and sinners?
17 When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. (Mark 2)
Maybe someday you will mature and realize that your (and Republicans') behavior parallels that of the Pharisees, and not of Jesus.

Obama's associates apparently were mentors and like minded ideologues with Obama and they weren't the kind of characters who any former president of the US would have been associated with whatsoever.
Buzsaw, you've totally missed the point.
You're right: Barack Obama is not Jesus. He's not even close. But, you are stipulating that the President of the United States must not associate with certain types of people, when this is clearly not in harmony Jesus's teachings. Jesus Himself did not filter His associations in any way: He spent all His time with publicans and sinners, people that the mainstream churchgoers of Jesus's time would have been telling Him He shouldn't be associating with.
You are doing exactly what the Pharisees did: "He shouldn't associate himself with those people, because they're evil." To rationalize it, you and Fox News have suggested that these associations were Obama's mentors, and will apparently become his co-conspirators in his attempts to destroy American values and freedoms.
In reality, you simply cannot say this: you don't know what Obama and Ayers talked about, nor how much of it Obama internalized, nor how much of it would even be controversial, and you certainly can't tell me that everybody who attends a church for a long time must agree with everything their pastor does.
So, you are jumping to conclusions in order to find support for your belief that Barack Obama is the anti-Christ. You are more than welcome to this belief. Just don't tell me I'm ignorant or stupid or immature for disagreeing with you.
