THE PROBLEM WITH THE REPUBLICAN PARTY...IS IT'S FULL OF REPUBLICANS.

Catholic Scientist' writes: I'm fairly conservative and I don't want any of those people to be president. I'd be fine with 4 more years of Uncle Barry... Say what?? If you could prefer 4 more years of Barry to any of the Republicans, you can't possibly be fairly conservative. You're either ultra-liberal or clueless. Had the Republicans not taken the House, we all would've been taken for what we have left by the end of Barry's term. If he prevails for another term, we'll all end up poor and oppressed by Comrade Barry's totalitarian regime of lefty un-elected czars and civilian Red Guard type knee breaking thug army. I too am a long time Conservative Republican but there is not a single Republican candidate I would consider capable of being a dog catcher and not one I consider honest enough to trust with a worn out shoe.

This is the worst equivocation I think I have ever seen here.
So you are saying only members of the Republican party support a Republic style of government? You have become a parody of yourself.Facts don't lie or have an agenda. Facts are just facts

You're all things to all posters, that you may pick and choose from all positions, pertaining to all posts so as to prevail at all times, tallying up over 20, 000 messages, . You're the Republican Christian who's Christian Bible is full of fables and who's party is full of members opposing your views. BUZSAW B 4 U 2 C Y BUZ SAW. Yes, right now the Republican Party is filled with people that disagree with me, but that is their problem. The Republican Party today has become nothing but a Christian Fascist party and needs to be opposed and exposed.

who's party is full of members opposing your views. If it makes you feel better, Buzz, I'm a lefty whose party usually opposes my views, too. I mean, even when the Democrats had both houses of Congress and the Presidency, we couldn't get universal single-payer health reform. We couldn't end the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. We couldn't abolish the Bush-era tax cuts, we couldn't institute new, higher tax brackets for the wealthy, we couldn't fix the idiotic cap on Social Security contributions, we couldn't close Guantanamo Bay, we couldn't get rid of the USA PATRIOT Act, we couldn't get rid of DOMA, we couldn't reform the prison system, we couldn't re-establish the banking regulations that have protected us since the Great Depression and whose removal caused multiple major recessions including the current Great Recession, we couldn't establish universal social justice rather than different rules for the wealthy and politically connected, we couldn't start to repair the income gap, we couldn't improve employment conditions, we couldn't fix wages that have been stagnant for decades, we couldn't... You certainly didn't want just about any of that anyway, I'm certain, but "my party" (or the closest thing I have to one) has never actually supported my views. A couple individual representatives, maybe, sometimes, but the party as a whole is only marginally better than the Republicans for me. Although, in favor of the Republicans, at least they're honest about it.The human understanding when it has once adopted an opinion (either as being the received opinion or as being agreeable to itself) draws all things else to support and agree with it. - Francis Bacon "There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs." - John Rogers

That was painful to watch. He was pleading for help from Ron Paul. You could see it.
