Paleobiologist Mary Schweitzer has defied the long-held belief that it is fruitless to search for preserved soft tissues in dinosaur remains. Most experts thought that such structures would have decayed and vanished long ago, but Schweitzer has found evidence of delicate structures such as blood vessels and red blood cells that have survived for millions of years. And paleobiologist Mary Schweitzer thinks that creationists are full of shit, and gives public talks saying so. Moreover, Mary Schweitzer used to be a young-earth creationist before she started studying dinosaurs. It was her research into the evidence that convinced her personally that creationists were talking shit. Maybe she knows more about her research than you do.
Though I must admit that Ica stones were claimed a Hoax. By the maker. My problem is why didnt artifact dating was not able to properly date these stones. By dating they unable to prove it was acient or not. Only the creator admission was anyone able to find this out. Not by dating. So you cited evidence that you know to be a hoax. There's some book somewhere that says that you shouldn't bear false witness --- but perhaps you think that that book is a load of crap.
The above four photos were taken at the excavation On the Cretaceous Rock ledges along the Paluxy River, five miles S.W. of Glen Rose Texas along Rt. 202. The Paluxy hoax has also been exposed. But perhaps you know that and wish to prate about it anyway. Since you are, apparently, deliberately dishonest, it's hard to tell when you're being genuinely stupid and when you're deliberately lying.

I think we still have some, they are called Crocodilians. They're just archosaurs. Dinosaurs are different. The most important feature is that they're adapted so that their legs are vertical instead of splaying outwards like crocodiles or lizards or tortoises. Birds are dinosaurs. Crocodiles are just the nearest thing to dinosaurs that aren't dinosaurs.

I could say something now, but I won't.

Yeah, don't want to reveal more of your arrogance and hatred toward fundamentalist Christians do you? Don't you think that you've attributed enough imaginary faults to me on this thread? Edited by Adminnemooseus, : Hide and banner.

Well, I was going to post just about exactly what caffeine just posted.
As I said, dinosaurs have pillar legs that allow them to bear their weight directly under their bodies. As a consequence, dinosaurs have a perforated acetabulum --- that is, they have holes in their hipbones into which the head of the thighbone fits, rather than a hollow in their hipbones in which it rests. (Mammals have the same arrangement, but it evolved independently.) There are other differences between dinosaurs and other reptiles --- for example, IIRC, dinosaurs have fewer fingers than the archosaurs from which they're descended. I myself only researched what a dinosaur really was a few years ago. One thing I found out which surprised me is that dinosaurs are basally bipedal. I'd envisioned some of them evolving bipedality, like humans did, but it's the other way round. Dinosaurs are descended from archosaurs which went running around on their hind legs, and then some of them got so big and heavy that they had to get down on all fours. You can see this very clearly with ceratopians --- there are little ceratopians with the characteristic neck frill and beak which were bipedal, and then as they evolved into great huge things like Triceratops they became quadrupedal.

So how many Jurassic Dinos had feathers? Did the T-rex? Quite possibly. The question that fascinates me is whether they sang. Movies have them roaring like lions, but why should they? Reptiles don't do that. But birds sing, couldn't that have been basal in dinosaurs? (IIRC, baby crocodiles make "cheep" noises just like baby birds, and they're archosaurs, so ...) I imagine, though I may be wrong in this, that the larger dinosaurs would have had deeper voices. Imagine the "dawn chorus" in the Cretaceous period as the ceratopians and stegosaurs began to boom forth their ponderous oratorios ... I don't know if this is the sort of thing we could ever be in a position to find out, but I like to think about it. Edited by Dr Adequate, : No reason given.

I thought you were only obsessively wrong about physics. It's nice to see you branching out.

I am neither right nor wrong, Inadequate. I just don't share your creationist bigbangist beliefs. I already knew you don't know what "creationist" means, so there's nothing new to laugh at there. That's disappointing. On the other hand, it seems that you're now setting your sights on the Law Of The Excluded Middle. This could be fun to watch. Edited by Dr Adequate, : No reason given.

Some claim the Chinese are finding loads of dragon bones and stuff. Others say Dawkins and his gang collect the bones and now they are all hidden up his arse. They say he hides them there in order not to lose face in a debate with the intelligent designers. I don't know as I did not double-check on either claim. Does it worry you at all that this is the most sensible and coherent thing you've posted?

Inadequate, we had a thread where it was clearly established that you lot are creationists, remember? No. That would be one of the crazy delusions in your head. One of the many, many crazy delusions in your head. (I am doing you the courtesy of supposing that you are insane rather than a deliberate liar.)

As to Pliny whom you are patronising here this is what he is coming back at you with: "Among these things, one thing seems certain - that nothing certain exists and that there is nothing more laughable and more presumptuous that the learned simian." That's not quite true. There's always the unlearned simian. Who pretends to be a cat.

Face it, Inadequate, the Cheshire cuts your bigbangist bollocks in your native English. And he suspects you can't even mumble in his native Purrish. I would again suggest that you show these sentences to a doctor and ask his opinion.

It's no gaps, Coy Boy. It's glaring contradictions in your crypto-creo case. Either there is the minimum rate of soft tissue decay or there is not. If there is what it is? This is what has to be examined together with the fresh red cells found in the dragon's bones which are supposedly 70 or 170 million years old. As it is your story sounds fishy to the feline and the open creationists are welcome by him to exploit your contradictions and laugh at you for evading them like a little sissy. Whatever their agenda may be, they are handing your arse to you exposing your bollocks consequently cut with the Occham's razor sharply wielded by the feline. They are supposed to be idiotically dogmatic, aren't they? You keep stealing that privilege from them. Why is that? Need the moggy ram the bollocks down that presumptuous throat? Tell me, were you always like this or was there some sort of traumatic life event which triggered it?

Enjoying making them sly doctorly insinuations, Inadequate? In his early kittenhood the Cheshire was traumatised by Zmei Goryinitch fairy tales, if you insist to know. Zmei Goryinitch is the traditional Russian dragon in case you ignore that. Very scary dinosaur. Spits hell-fire and steals pretty maidens. And this broke your brain?
Read that: C-14 Dating Yeah, it's rubbish. The biggest lie in the paper is this: "W. Libby, who received the Nobel Prize for his C-14 research showed there is no possible way that bone collagen can be contaminated." Of course he didn't show that, and in the paper (written in 1964!) which they cite he merely said that he didn't know of such a mechanism.
Now take a look here. Among scientists, Libby's ignorance has been supplanted by actual knowledge. Among creationists, of course, his ignorance is passed off as proven fact. This gives them no credibility among scientists, of course, but it allows them to gull credulous dupes such as yourself.
