Yours and my favorite Tea Party senator has officially thrown his hat in the ring for President.
Now this should prove entertaining to see how much muck and mud will be slung in all directions. Edited by 1.61803, : spellz"You were not there for the beginning. You will not be there for the end. Your knowledge of what is going on can only be superficial and relative" William S. Burroughs

Yours and my favorite Tea Party senator has officially thrown his hat in the ring for President. Question: since the Birther in Chief (Donald Trump) and his rag-tag bunch of rube crazies have already established that someone not born in the USA cannot run for President of the United States, then how come Canadian born Ted Cruz appears to be exempt from any scrutiny? Oh yeah, I forgot. He's Republican and he's white.

I believe senator John McCain was born in Panama.
That did not stop his presidential bid either. As long as your not born black or have a black wife or a dubious Muslim name your good. "You were not there for the beginning. Reports are that Trump is already on the case:

Trump brings birther charge against Cruz Potentially being Canadian is overshadowed by all the real reasons he shouldn't be President. Like his promise to get rid of the IRS. I guess he's not aware of where government officials' salaries come from. Or he and his pals are just too rich to care...Love your enemies!

So it is embarrassing and disappointing how sitting senators and congressmen joined in the "birther" stupidity along with the wingnut crazies. Could it of been because they are racist or because they are really that ignorant? How about just ignorant racist. "You were not there for the beginning. You will not be there for the end. quote:All the birther and other BS were never intended to stop or rid of Obama. They were intended to cover up all the obstructions of Obama's policies. There is a very old principle in social studies that the Nazis took full advantage of. If you repeat a lie enough times, people will believe it to be either partially true or fully true. Cases in point. The right keeps repeating the lie that taxes has gone up through the roof under Obama even though it's gone down. And most people believe this lie. The right keeps repeating that Obama is not a christian (like it matters anyway). Result? A significant portion of the US population actually believes he's a muslim. The right keeps repeating that Obama hasn't achieved anything, and most people believe this lie. The reality is he's done a remarkable job at achieving many things despite republican obstructionism. I think the biggest achievement so far by Obama is to keep us out of another decade long war in Iraq. Remember when the republicans were pissing and moaning demanding that we send in full ground forces again when ISIL made a big splash? I can go on with a dozen different other things. Most people are simply too willing to believe lies put out by the right. And because of this, a loony like Ted Cruz might actually have a chance (as much as I hate to admit it).

All the birther and other BS were never intended to stop or rid of Obama. The birther stuff started before Obama was elected. I call BS on this. I for one do not believe the birthers and what we would normally call the "fringe right" are as stupid as many people seem to think. I believe they were fully aware that Sarah Palin was a joke and McCain never had a chance. I also believe that they knew Obama's ascension to the throne as the anti-christ was inevitable. Sure, many of their underlings believed that McCain and Palin had a chance, but the people in charge knew it was inevitable that Obama would get elected and begin the reign of terror.
Instead of trying to win the election, they did the next best thing: trying to illegitimatize Obama's birthright. All the obstructionism that Obama has encountered the last 6-7 years were already planned out before he was even elected. And they did a remarkable job at it, too. They got everything covered. Some people would like to see Obama weak, so they lied that Obama is too weak to deal with foreign leaders. Some people would like to see Obama as a strong tyrannical leader, so they lied that Obama gave the most executive orders in history. It was all already planned out.

I believe senator John McCain was born in Panama. So it is embarrassing and disappointing how sitting senators and congressmen joined in the "birther" stupidity along with the wingnut crazies. Not half as embarrassing as the fact that those senators and congressmen got their seats by being elected.
Could it of been because they are racist or because they are really that ignorant? How about just ignorant racist. Probably. Love your enemies!
