Hi Whatever,
You say:
Its obvious cattle, insects, birds, and fish have not a common ancestor
As Mark24 has pointed out and I will repeat: Looking at the DNA sequences ofcattle, insects, birds, and fish and comparing them makes it obvoius that they
do have a common ancestor. You also repeat a myth that keeps on cropping up on these boards, without any real facts to back it up, that similarity proves a common designer just as much as a common ancestor.
These two points indicate to me that you may not be totally informed as to the background to the whole genetic similarity argument. To save me gibbering to you in short-winded molecular biology speak, or babbling in long-winded analogy speak
, can you explain how evolutionists use genetic similarity as evidence for common ancestors, in your own words.
Hopefully this will prevent us talking at cross purposes for several posts and help us get to the nitty griitty of the discussion, where you can spell out to us all what the mechanism of inteligent design would be that is consistant with the observed facts.
Hope this is not too cheeky
