I don't think he coudl be considered a 'superhero' .. too many Christians find his actions distasteful.

Of course, with his actions, he did more to bring the issue of gay equality to the forefront than any 5 gay activists.

In that case, the best way to honor him is donate to your local LGBTQ organization (or national as the case might be), and donate in the name of the WBC in honor of his memory.
