If you desire revenge, don't just off the dude at dawn the next day. Let him rot on with his kindred spirits at that Supermax prison in Florence, Colorado.
From the wiki ADX Florence
quote:
The facility is best known for housing inmates who have been deemed too dangerous, too high-profile or too great a national security risk for even a maximum-security prison. These include the leaders of violent gangs who had continued to issue orders to their members from lower security facilities, including Larry Hoover of the Gangster Disciples, and Barry Mills and Tyler Bingham of the Aryan Brotherhood. ADX also houses foreign terrorists, including Zacarias Moussaoui, the only person convicted in civilian court of the September 11 attacks; Faisal Shahzad, the perpetrator of the 2010 Times Square car bombing attempt;[12] and Ramzi Yousef, mastermind of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing; as well as domestic terrorists, including serial bombers Ted Kaczynski and Eric Rudolph. Timothy McVeigh, who carried out the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing, was housed at ADX before he was sentenced to death in 1997 and transferred to the United States Penitentiary, Terre Haute, which houses federal death row inmates. McVeigh's co-conspirator, Terry Nichols, is serving 161 life sentences at ADX. Robert Hanssen, the former FBI agent who betrayed several spies to the Soviet Union and Russia, is serving 15 life sentences at ADX for his crimes. The prison also houses inmates who are a high escape risk, including Richard McNair, who escaped from a county jail and two other prisons before being sent to ADX. Additionally, former Bonanno crime-family boss Vincent Basciano is currently serving time in ADX Florence.[13]
quote:
A former ADX warden described the place as "a cleaner version of Hell".[22] As of 2007, there have been hundreds of "involuntary feedings" and four suicides.
That isn't enough revenge to satisfy your bloodlust?
It appears to me that anyone devoted to revenge would be far happier torturing the guilty for the remainder of their lives than allowing them to become martyrs to the cause, whether it be international terrorism in the case of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, or domestic racism in the case of Dylann Storm Roof.
I have seen the ADX Supermax facility from the outside (the only way to see it IMHO) and it scares me more than any horror movie ever could. This is after hanging around Pueblo for a few days, a city which my daughter commenting on the architecture said "looks like Eastern Europe under the Soviets."
However, your emotional desire for vengeance over my simple desire for removal from civilized society is not what disturbs me the most about your post. It is instead your self-professed values.

Evidently you do not agree with those rather ancient judicial customs favored by Western democracies, such as trial by jury and presumption of innocence.
Also, and this is even more damning, as succinctly pointed out by Ringo:
Ringo writes:
look it up in the Bible. Jesus was clear that only those without sin - i.e. nobody - were fit to administer the death penalty. And He said so to the equivalent of the state authority.
So you disagree with both the best practices of Western jurisprudence and the very teachings of Jesus Christ.
Don;t worry, there are many in this world who agree with you.
One group in particular stands out, namely Daesh aka ISIS, aka ISIL. Not only do they reject Western concepts of justice as you do, they also reject Mohammed's teachings against the killing of non-combatants just as you reject Jesus's teachings against capital punishment.
I understand Daesh is not only recruiting, but Jihadi John would also like another wife.
Indeed it would truly be a marriage of kindred spirits, if not made in heaven, certainly one in hypocrisy.
