Consider this:
Noah took two of every animal into his boat. The number of land species on earth is roughly 18,000,000 according to the World Resources Institute and National Geographic. Now add to that the number of freshwater animals. The supplies required for all of these animals and the containers for them would be enormous. Nearly all of the animals would have to be separated or they might eat each other. In addition, we know that in order for a species to survive it must reproduce and if one of the two creatures dies then the species will become extinct. Taking the numbers from the slave trade, where often 50% of the Africans did not survive, the number of animals present must have been close to 50,000,000 (that includes doubling the species (2 of each), adding the freshwater and being generous on the number which would die on the trip). Separate containers, along with provisions and a HUGE abundance of fresh water for drinking and for the fresh water animals would have weighed an enormous amount that no tanker even today made of METAL could withstand.
The ark was made of wood. . . . or was it
My guess is that Noah didn't just have one ark, but about 5 million metal Arks ?
.............or then again mabye, just maybe Noah never had an Ark ?

Homer: Hey, Flanders,
heading for church? Well, I
thought I
could save you a little time.
Ned: Oooh, found a new
shortcut.
Homer: Better. I was
working on a flat tax
proposal and I
accidentally proved there's
no God. [shows Flanders a
sheet of paper with
complex figuring on it]
Ned: [flustered] We'll just
see about that. [reads the
paper]
Uh-oh. Well, maybe he
made a mistake. [checks it
again]
Nope, it's airtight. Can't let
this little doozy get out.
[uses a lighter to burn the
"proof"]
[in the background, Homer
puts more copies of his no-
God
paper on the windshields
of nearby cars]
