seems the BIG BANG is a misnomer as it implies an explosion...
...regardless I still think that all physical laws breakdown at the frontier of the expanding sphere of spacetime and that beyond that lies the same singularity stuff that is and was the initial singularity before time started as we know it and space filled in the gaps, so for lack of a better word relative to the unknown and since there is only one singularity I'm gonna call it NOTHING...no, hang on, I think I'll give it a consciousness and call it GOD instead
I think the interaction between this absolute singular nothingness and the real multiple somethingness or God and the universe accounts for energy still being created and channelled backwards thru spacetime (along with everthing else in between) even unto the beginning of our universe.
I also think that blackholes pop in and out to keep the universe in equilibrium and balanced around a fixed centre and just as we can't see the curvature in the earth from sea level so can we not see the curvature of our spherically expanding, bubble membraned universe. In other words we cant see up to the frontier or backwards towards the centre as to see implies light in sum form but even that just keeps getting bent around so that we can't see beyond out universe or it's beginning only postulate theories based on observation requiring some form of light...catch 22, in the beginning God said let there be light
now of course needless to say i am totally untrained but in a simple view of the universe it works for me...
I realise that my view can be disproved but what would it take to prove ???
Without traveling thru time to the creation and consequent evolution of space and time or to the space where time and space is still being created will we ever know ???
...any way to avoid confusion would the big bang be better named the BIG SPREAD instead or if not then what ???
thanks in advance and have a nice life...
eZ
ps...some of you may know I've posted this stuff before and got sum very legit answers but to be honest i got confused by the mathematics and big words so maybe some of you can school me up again if you would be so kind and...
...K.I.S.S

oh yeah...
...actually it's the worm holes that "pop" in and out which to me are just black holes disconnected from the frontier or the centre acting as channels thru spacetime
sorry...
<<(EDIT)>>
...now, how's about answering my questions instead...huh ???

if light is a particle and a wave then as a particle it has mass but as a wave it has none so it is both matter and not or does a wave have mass and is therefore matter as well ???

gee...eta
2 threads two posts and not even bothering to try to correct or give an alternate viewpoint...
...you're not helping so why don't you just STFU

Re: Reply
I got better things to do...
...and not being an expert I wouldn't know where to start. You seem to have a handle on this whole cosmology gig so maybe instead of coming off like a playahating troll...Why don't you help enlighten the populace???
Posting snide comments does nothing but lower your esteem in these circles...
...that aside I would love to hear the cosmology model you most favour as in put your ass on the line. I don't need the equations to prove what you think I just want to know what you think

Re: Busy
all that may be well and true Nosy but to dismiss somebody with a nonchalant oneliner is just plain rude...
Just who do you think isn't trying to learn anything ???
...speaking for myself it's why I'm here

ok then...
I read that Smoller/Temple thing about a leading edge and middle and it seems consistent with Guth's inflationary model about pre big bang origins and current model of curvature for an expanding spherical universe appearing flat...
...In line with that can you tell me if it's not inconcievable that the universe is actually the membrane of a bubble 13.7 billion years thick expanding around a fixed point with it's mass being equally distributed around said point and regulated by black holes that redistribute mass to various points of the frontiers to maintain equilibrium ???
if not why not ???

...the central point could be fixed in higher dimensional space, remnants of pre big bang singularity or nothing at all just a reference point of expansion in spacetime it even could be the centre of an inconcievably large black hole at the centre of the universe
in short why ask me I know little if anything I'm still at the thinking about it stage...
If there were a prediction it would be black holes lead to the edge or middle of the inflating universe and when separated from the edges become wormholes allowing for travel across the universe but not to other universes...Is it possible to calculate all the mass in the universe and distribute it around a spherical model based on what we can see so far then possibly predict where the sphere might be out of balance and know which star is going to turn black ???
and I was just wondering do you accelerate faster into a black hole towards the edge or the middle of it as in do you spiral into it like water draining thru a plughole picking up speed as you approach the centre of the vortex or do you just go straight in constant acceleration until you reach a fixed velocity ???
