After reading the suggested posts, I then started from the beginning of this thread, checked out the referenced sites, as well as some I found on my own, and all I can say is that this must be much more than mere coincidence.
I had never heard this argument about the pyramid before but now I must admit that if it is true, and the evidence that it is true seems overwhelming, I will have to re-examine the bible and re-evaluate this seemingly undeniable possibility that the bible is indeed the word of god, and that creation did indeed happen in the manner explained in the bible.
I have seen most of the evo's here offer excuse after excuse, still refusing to accept the evidence presented but as I stated in another post in another forum, "nothing in the bible that is shown to a determined non-believer will ever be able to convince them.....", which was a statement I made concerning the existance of confirmed scientific statements in the bible.
I said at the beginning that I would approach everything with an open mind, something your average evo is determined not to do. I, however, am not your average evo. Examination of the available evidence has already proven to me that the theory of macroevolution is nothing more than a myth, a fairytale for adults. Anyone who attempts to deny this is simply ignoring the evidence. Macroevolution never happened, is not happening now, and never will happen.
Quite possibly, further examination of the bible will further prove to me that it is the actual word of god, and that would be, for me at least, a shocking revelation and one that would necessitate a major shift in thinking when it comes to origins. I remain open to the challenge.
Cheers
The theory of evolution is a viable theory, absent the myth of macroevolution.
Once the myth of macroevolution is included, the viability of the theory of evolution vanishes as it slowly evolves into just another example of an implausible story,
nestled amongst the numerous fairytale's of our youth.-----DarkStar
