Fifty Fifty ain't that nifty?
Robin, your logic is quite apt.
I of course believe that God imagined us long before we were even coherent enough to imagine Him.

Re: Infinate posibilities == zero probability
If you consider the source of the configuration of these odds---human wisdom---and realize that in this vast universe, humans are only 100% known to be on ONE dustspeck of a planet in one solar system in one galaxy of 100 billion stars out of 100 billion galaxies---that shifts your "odds" back the other way IMHO.
How audacious of us to imagine ourselves the source of wisdom and the source of accurate probabilities!

What does this means "imagine ourselves the source of wisdom"?
And "the source of accurate probabilities?"
It means that we have a universe, which we "know" based on empirical facts collcted solely through human logic.
And we *may* have God who exists absolutely, IMHO but is perceived through human belief.
God is not an empirical observation----the universe is. Yet ALL that we know originates in our own little collective mammilian brains.
One species on a dustspeck imagining infinity! What a concept!

Things and Beings
I tried to follow your logic, Robin. It does seem to make sense.
Lets examine things and beings for a moment.
Noun: A person, place, thing, or idea.
1) a person=a being.
2) a place = ? (not a being)
3) a thing= a thing.
4) an idea=(?)
-------------------------------------------
Mr.Dictionary writes:
thingn 1 : a matter of concern : affair <~s to do> 2 pl : state of affairs <~s are improving> 3 : event, circumstance 4 : deed, act 5 : a distinct entity : object 6 : an inanimate object distinguished from a living being 7 pl : possessions, effects 8 : an article of clothing 9 : detail, point 10 : idea, notion 11 : something one likes to do : specialty
beingn 1 : existence; also : life 2 : the qualities or constitution of an existent thing 3 : a living thing; esp : person
Finally, a scripture from the O.T.:
NIV writes:
Deut 4:15-20-- You saw no form of any kind the day the LORD spoke to you at Horeb out of the fire. Therefore watch yourselves very carefully, so that you do not become corrupt and make for yourselves an idol, an image of any shape, whether formed like a man or a woman, or like any animal on earth or any bird that flies in the air, or like any creature that moves along the ground or any fish in the waters below. And when you look up to the sky and see the sun, the moon and the stars--all the heavenly array--do not be enticed into bowing down to them and worshiping things the LORD your God has apportioned to all the nations under heaven.
Apparantly, the only description of any object apart from a being or a thing is an idea.
Unless we are God, however, our ideas are not physical objects in and of themselves.
