Maybe rather than all ganging up on Faith we can see what creationist organisations, or their pseudo-secular relative, are doing in terms of research.
A good place to start is probably the
'BSG', formerly the 'Baraminology Study Group', whose entire
raison d'etre is the definition of and classification of kinds or baramins.
This contains links to a number of papers which seem to make real attempts to put forward methods for identifying baramins (
Frair, 2000;
Wood and Cavanaugh, 2001;
Hennigan, 2005).
I would encourage you to read some or all of these papers and then maybe we can have a little Baraminology journal club discussion.
