Stop listening to Alex Jones
I bet you listen to Alex Jones, or the power hour. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that they are self serving, your worthless dollars are all they want, same as your link to a scammer. These people's bread and butter is the ignorance of their customer.
You can buy gold, I'll spend my money on dried foods and ammunition if I want to plan for future, me thinks they might be more valuable than gold, at least to me.

How is it leftist for government to obligate companies to obey the law by not hiring illegals
So want Big Government to tell private businesses who they can and cannot hire?
I do, my trade has been over-run with cheap labor. What would be wrong with enforcing our immigration laws.

Besides the fact that they're unfair, racist, deeply punitive, counterproductive, and meant to stop a "problem" that doesn't exist (supposed economic "losses" from low-skill immigration)?
Please explain??
I am totally open to changing my mind, I used to vote republican, til I was a hair from needing welfare. I used to belive in God, til I wised up. I am not looking to argue, only to learn. I will be the first to tell you I am wrong. I think all men have right to try to improve their lives, within the law. I guess I want to know where these laws are flawed?
Would a better guest worker program help?

By the way, my trade is not considered un-skilled or low -skilled. I doubt very few of you know as much about plumbing as my helper does.
Sorry I know this is off topic response, but I get sick of people thinking that construction jobs are simple low skill jobs.

Thank you and frog for explaining your position, and for most part I agree.
I mentioned a better guest worker program and I think the "illegal" immigrant status is something that needs to be addressed, for the benefit of all. If there was no market for people who felt they had to work cheap then we all would benefit. Am I wrong?

What makes you think you should blame undocumented workers? What's your rational basis for determining that they even might be at fault? Do you even know whether your floor workers are actually undocumented, as opposed to simply not speaking English well? Maybe they just prefer their first language?
As the neighborhood changes so that the local language becomes Hispanic, or Asian, or Middle Eastern, it is likely that those workers who are fluent in the locally used first language would be of greater value and so should be paid more than an English speaking only employee.
I would think that would be especially true in a business like a grocery store.
Got to adapt, I am learning Spanish so I can widen my customer base. If I was to hire a new helper, being bi-lingual would be a definite plus for me. NC has a lot of immigrants who speak little or no English. I would make sure he/she is legal though, if nothing more than to make sure I don't have any problems with any potential Govt work I may get lucky enough to get.

Hi Buz,
Where did you get your tinfoil hat? I'm wondering if one vendor is better than another. Do you prefer a single contiguous sheet of foil, or do you prefer hats made from multiple separate pieces? Is there a particular shape that's more effective at blocking the Obama-nation atheist Muslim communist mind control rays?
Tin foil should be heavy duty type, you must fashion it with the F117 stealth fighter in mind. If not properly made it will let some of the mind control rays enter and then bounce around, in many cases this causes the person to become insane, believing in conspiracy theories offered up by the likes of Alex Jones.
