Madness,eh? Well Do you actually believe:

    So, early humans had access to the same God that we have, yet their primative explanations of creation at least included God. Now, in our vaunted intellect, we have decided that God was an archtypical myth.
    Claiming to be wise, we will end up as fools.

    IF it is possible to commune/communicate with God, as I believe that I can, THEN it matters not what era in the progression of humanity attempts to do so. Hi Tech Science, with all of their measuring devices, theories, and literature are really no closer than the bronze age goatherder, who in all probability had more time for silence and meditation--

    The Bible talks of Spirit as water..

    If the Spirit, which is life, is manifest in air, water, and fire, how hard is it to see that when matter became alive, earth was the source of the body and God was the source of the Spirit?

    Well, this is a dead end way where you're going. Jesus said to Thomas something like "blessed are those that have not seen but believe..."So, Thomas was awarded with solid evidence but people that have faith are "blessed", whatever that means.
    And I respect the fact that you doubt lots of things, Lam! It is what makes you a good forum participant. You have more degrees than boiling water, yet you still spend a lot of time talking with people such as Jar, Chris(porcelain) and I. I am certain that Gods Word was/is divinely inspired, yet we all can say that we doubt the exact meaning behind the translations, can't we? The fact that we choose to be a community of posting brethren seeking answers in intent as well as letter for letter inference shows me that there is Heart in this forum! Thats a Blessing to me, for sure, for sure!
