Why is it always religious people who say without God, I could just kill whoever I want because of survival of the fittest.
And why are there so many religious people convicted of murder?
And why have I, as an atheist, not killed anyone?
It would appear that atheists are frequently with god and religious people are frequently without.
I wonder which god is with me?
Well, whoever he is, he can fuck right off.

We discovered in the last century that there is a whole spiritual (non-physical/mental) world of the Subconscious at work inside our head.
That is a lie.
kofh2u writes:
Those seven Freudian/Jungian archetypes actually instigate and rationalize our behavior, often when we consciously call upon them to "take over.'
That is also a lie.
It is very easy to see when you are lying: you start using the number 7.

I think so.
He is acting dumb.
And althought you would like to let me know how frustrated, angry, and totally rooked you feel in confronting me with your smug superior self right attitude that was FAIL, you are really just showing yourself to be a poor sport at one and the same time.
No, no. Seriously - you can stop now.
And why do you keep posting empty quotes?
Oh wait - I know why.

Please provide a practical example of what absolute morality is. 7th time of asking. (at least)
Again, I have done this to many times to mention. First it is a logical proposition, pitted agaist physical realities
Secondly you need to show that your position is consistent and that no more information could be gathered to change or alter your position. You simply cannot do this
And it looks like Tangle will have to ask an 8th time...

Re: Morality for all not just some
Tangle writes:
A better example is murder; it's the nearest thing we have to an absolute morality.
But that is a bit circular.
Murder is "unlawful killing" - and laws are affected by morality.
Killing per se is not immoral: only certain specific killings are immoral.
e.g. When someone kills their daughter and claims it is an honour killing; it would not be considered murder in all countries.
Edited by Panda, : No reason given.
