Does Peer Pressure stifle the acceptance of the obvious?

You see, before I 'pray' to god, I have to believe in God.And you are saying that I should believe to get a response, so I can get evidence that there is a god.Sounds like a catch 22 to me.

The first commandment is 'Tho shalt have no god before me'.It's the first one out of the big 10.If you are an athiest or agnostic, you don't have any god before the big guy in the sky... therefore you don't break that commandment.

Sigh, You might be sick of it. However, that is the standard response you give.. (PRAY TO GOD AND HE'LL ANSWER), and when people try to do that you just claim they don't believe.That just looks like a case of self delusion to me. You are right though, god is either there nor not. The bible says a lot of things about god. So does the Vedas, So does the Koran. That doesn't mean it is true.YOu ask questions. I say when you pray, you are probing your inner conciousness, and you share your thoughts with yourself. I rather suspect you can't demonstrate any differently, although you might fervently believe otherwise.

Why are you assuming someone 'fears' death if they don't believe in God? Why should one 'Fear' death at all?

Which 'BIBLE' are you specifically talking about.And, can you show why that specific bible is soo much more reliable that other versions of scripture? Other than your heartfelt belief of course.

You claim that science world is full of 'unwarrented assumptions'.Can you name a few, and show why they are unwarrented. Can you take some of those assumptions, and falsify them?
