I think we are playing musical chairs. I moved the topic which was getting to age of the earth at the recommendation of NosyNed in regards to the topic "Among Scientists, How Broad is Concensus?" when TRV777 got off that topic into age of the earth. no sooner thatn I do that he brings in the vapor canopy as evidence of a young earth. One can't win!!!!

Here is just one such statement.

The earth is believed to be a cooling and contracting body. With a reduction in size the outer crust becomes wrinkled. The crests of these wrinkles protrude above the water, which fills the troughs. I replied with the scriptures that mention the water vapor to show that it actually is in the bible and not a creationist invention.

Water vapor and a water canopy are not the same thing. Water vapor exists today it what relative humidity is. The idea of a vapor canopy is a creationist invention as Percy stated
